Golden raisin chai krispies
crispy, chewy + nostalgic! this easy-to-make fall favorite is made all the more delicious by warming masala spices~
Ingredients
10 oz marshmallows
5 cups puffed rice cereal
1 cup golden raisins
5 tbsp butter
3 tbsp soul chai powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
.5 tsp seasalt
it’s easy!
- throw on your favorite fall playlist & line a 12 x 18” rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
- on med-low, melt butter completely in a large pot. add soul chai powder + marshmallows stirring frequently with a wooden spoon (this is key) until melted
- add vanilla & salt, mix well and pour in cereal & raisins
- use the wooden spoon to very rapidly incorporate your goo with your puffs. transfer your perfectly mixed lump of goodness to the baking dish & using your fingers/parchment scraps press firmly into the dish
- let cool and enjoy!
